Aldo Rovero, Electrical Engineer
After leaving active duty in 1947, Aldo Rovero continued to serve in the Army and Air Force reserves. He attended Catholic University of America and was awarded a BS EE degree in 1951. While employed as an EE, he earned a Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Hartford, which he applied in his avocation as a volunteer on East Hartford CT town committees and commissions.

Design of electrical distribution system, including sizing of SSTG and MG sets, for USS Skate
Design of submarine nuclear reactor control systems
Pratt and Whitney Division, United Technologies
CANEL aircraft nuclear reactor controls and safety circuits for ground-based reactors
Design of space-based and ground-based fuel cells, including those for the initial Apollo Program Lunar Excursion Module (LEM)
Jet engine and engine test cell/stand electrical controls and recording systems
